A child safety expert and CEO of AMBER Ready is aiding in the search for missing Chili teenager Brittanee Drexel.

Frank Del Vecchio said his agency will help try to locate Drexel, who has been missing since Spring Break last year.

AMBER Ready has hired detective agency Benson Agency Investigations to hopefully bring new insight to the search for Drexel.

Brittanee's mother Dawn Drexel said she welcomes the help.

"With an extra set of eyes, especially with a private investigator, we're very optimistic. We want to find Brittanee and that's everyone's goal," Dawn Drexel said.

Drexel said AMBER Ready will work with the CUE Center for Missing Persons and other agencies and volunteers who are hoping to find Drexel.

Drexel never returned home after an April vacation to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
