NCAA practices at HSBC free for fans
BUFFALO, N.Y. -- If you don't have a ticket to this weekend's NCAA Tournament at HSBC Arena, there's still an opportunity to see the teams take the court.
Beginning at noon Thursday, fans can go to the arena and watch the teams practice for free.
Parking for fans will also be free.
"It gives an opportunity for fans who don't have a ticket to the games this weekend to get a chance to see the teams up close, get a chance to see the arena, and be a part of the excitement," said Ken Taylor, the tournament manager.
Top seeded Syracuse practices at 5:10 p.m. Thursday.
There will also be 2,000 students from the Buffalo Public School District at HSBC for a drug and alcohol awareness event prior to the open practices.
