BERGEN, N.Y. -- The medical examiner says a Genesee County man who died after being arrested on DWI charges died of natural causes.

The Genesee County Sheriff's Office say they responded to a call Tuesday evening, saying 47-year old Richard Fox had driven away from his home in Bergen after drinking.

Deputies found the car at Fox's home and questioned him about drinking and driving.

Investigators say he was cooperative as he was arrested.

Fox later became unresponsive, and deputies attempted CPR outside the patrol car.

He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The medical examiner is still awaiting toxicology reports.
