Love triangle murder could mean life behind bars
BUFFALO, N.Y. -- A man convicted in the fatal shooting of a Buffalo man last summer will be spending the next 22 years to life behind bars.
36-year-old Hector Gonzalez was sentenced in Erie County Court Thursday for the murder of 23-year-old Edwin LaSalle of Buffalo.
The shooting took place on the 100 block of Auburn Avenue last July.
LaSalle died six days later at ECMC from a bullet wound to the head.
The dispute erupted over a lover's triangle.
