BUFFALO, N.Y. -- One of the men wanted for questioning in the August 14 City Grill mass shooting is in more trouble with the law.
Officials from the U.S. District Attorney's office say federal weapons possession charges have been filed against 25-year-old Steven Talley.
The charges stem from a 2007 search of Talley's home, where investigators found weapons in violation of a previous conviction.
Talley was arrested August 20 for charges unrelated to the mass shooting. Four people were killed and four others wounded in the shooting outside the Main Street restaurant.
Buffalo Police sources say Talley is considered a key witness in the mass shooting investigation.
BPD officials have requested media outlets not show Talley’s face during the quadruple homicide investigation.
