E coli contamination prompts ground beef recall
Cargill Meat Solutions has recalled 8,500 pounds of ground beef due to a possible e coli contamination.
The meat was sold at BJ's Wholesale Club. The product code is w69-032 and it had a use by date of July 1.
The Food Safety and Inspection Service found a link between the meat and illnesses in Maine and New York.
