LOCKPORT, N.Y. -- Investigators in the Town of Lockport are trying to figure out what sparked a fire at a home on Robinson Road Wednesday night.

Officials say that a fire started at around 9:45 p.m. in the attic of the home around a vent but they do not know how the fire started.

An elderly woman who lived in the home and her cat were able to get out of the home safely.
There was minor damage to the home. The investigation is ongoing.
