ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills are back in primetime Thursday as they play host to longtime rival Miami. Ralph Wilson Stadium is once again the place to be as the Bills host a night game.
For the first time in four years, NFL football is under the lights at Ralph Wilson Stadium. There is a lot on the line in this one. Thursday night's game against the Dolphins is basically the season.
The Bills have six losses already and can really only afford one or two more losses, if that. The Dolphins are a team many picked to be at the bottom of the AFC East this year. Instead, it's the Bills, currently looking up at the Dolphins and desperate for a win.
"We are disappointed. We are not where we want to be," said quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. "I think I kind of said that the past few weeks and not been able to turn it around the past few weeks with some tough games. We have to start winning at some point, and this is a great week to do it, a great week to start it off and get on a little streak here."
"I think the biggest thing for us is be confident, focused, and like I said, go out there and make it happen. That is the biggest thing. You sit here and dwell on everything else, we are going to be sitting right where we are," said defensive end Mario Williams.
If it seems like it's been a while since the Bills played a home game, it has. The last game at the Ralph was against the Titans, almost a month ago.
