What's new this year at First Night Buffalo
BUFFALO, N.Y. — It's not too early to be thinking about your New Year's Eve plans, and if you're considering First Night Buffalo, there will be a few new attractions this year.
Those attractions include costumed characters, wild animals, trivia games, music, and rides for kids.
Organizers say they're also adding a section for younger children.
They say First Night, which is a drug and alcohol free event, is a great way for families to have fun while they ring in the new year.
"We're seeing a new group of families come year after year, so it's becoming a great family tradition here in Western New York," said Carrie Meyer, Independent Health Foundation.
This will be the 24th year for First Night. It's one of the longest celebrations of its type in the country.
