AAA is predicting 93.3 million Americans will be driving to their holiday destinations. That's up almost two percent from last year. It's also at a six-year high.

Experts say it's because travelers aren't finding reasonably priced plane tickets.

AAA also says the price for hotels and car rentals are also up.

The holiday travel period runs from Saturday, December 22nd until January 1st.
