JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — "These are probably the most important games of the year and there is no clowning around. We have to get to business and make sure we get four points," said Ironmen center Evan Ritt.

"Obviously, being in first place is nice. It is a big weekend, it doesn't make or break our season, but it would be nice to be in first place by the end of the weekend," said Ironmen coach Dan Diakawa.

With a two-game series sweep over the Eagles, the Ironmen would put themselves in first place in the North American Hockey League's North Division. Getting Soo here at home is right where they want them. Jamestown is 12-3-1 in the Ice Arena.

"It is a big advantage coming to our ice and our fans get into in. We feel comfortable playing at home and we know we can win here," said Ironmen defenseman Kenny Curtis.

Jamestown's confidence is the result of a multitude of scorers. The Ironmen currently have seven players with 20 or more points.

"You know you can count on different guys, you know, your third and fourth line to put up points is huge. It also gets other guys some rest which helps a lot, especially our top two lines," said Curtis.

Jamestown and Soo drop the puck Friday at 7 p.m. and at 5 p.m. Saturday.
