TOWN OF LOCKPORT, N.Y. -- Niagara County will host a meeting this month on fishing in Lake Ontario.
The Department of Environmental Conservation will host the session to update people on the status of fisheries along the lake.
The economic impact of Lake Ontario fishing exceeds 110 million dollars.
The Cornell Cooperative Extension in the Town of Lockport will host the meeting at 6:30 p.m. March 19 at its building at 4487 Lake Ave.
