Aldi Grocery Stores Holds Hiring Event

WESTERN NEW YORK — The Aldi grocery store chain held a hiring event at a few of its stores in Western New York Tuesday.
A steady stream of job seekers filled out applications and met with store representatives at locations in Dunkirk, Jamestown, and Olean.
They are looking to fill Manager Trainee positions that start out at $21.65 per hour plus benefits. To qualify, you basically need to be 18 or older with a high school diploma or GED, be able to lift 45 pounds, and work any day of the week.
Representatives say they are always looking for new applicants.
"We really just look for the best quality that comes into Aldi. Aldi is constantly growing every year we have more and more stores. We want to be here for our community," said Melissa Limpert, district manager.
