HAMBURG, N.Y. - The Erie County Fair came to a close Sunday, and ended on a high note with one of the most anticipated events at the fairgrounds.
The world's largest Demolition Derby officially concluded the fair's week-long tradition of food, rides and games.
Hundreds of cheering fans gathered at the racetrack to see which car outlasted the others.
Nearly a dozen brightly painted cars crashed and smashed their way to the end before the horn blew.
A cash prize was awarded to the winner of the Demolition Derby.
