BUFFALO, N.Y. — An Erie County grand jury has voted to charge the Buffalo man accused of dragging his pit bull terrier down the road.
The Erie County District Attorney says 36-year-old Daniel Delaney of Buffalo has been charged with misdemeanor animal cruelty. He's accused of injuring his dog, now named Gotti, on October 6th.
SPCA officials say when they first received him, he had road rash on most of his body and the pads on all four paws were almost completely gone.
Gotti was recently adopted.
Delaney faces one year in prison if convicted.
