CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — A plane preparing to take off at the Buffalo-Niagara International Airport rushed back to the gate after smoke entered the cockpit and the cabin.
According to NFTA spokesperson C. Douglas Hartmayer, Continental Express Flight 4191 was headed to Newark around 4:45 p.m. Thursday when smoke appeared throughout the plane. It was carrying 50 passengers and three crew members.
The pilot moved back towards the gate and dropped its stairs to get everyone off.
No one was hurt, and the cause is under investigation.
