CATTARAUGUS COUNTY, N.Y. — St Bonaventure's Jessica Jenkins - a native of Marion, Ohio - definitely left her mark on the Women's Basketball program.

The 5'8'' guard garnered a National Player of the Week honor, and is 13th in the NCAA all time three-pointers made list with 331, but the All-Academic member says it was overachieving her own individual goals that meant the most during her time with the Bonnies.

"The 1st team A-10 selection, just because before the year my goal was to be on the 2nd team. I worked so hard and it was nice to see that pay off with that." says Jenkins.

Even with all the individual success, Jenkins admits it's the memories of making a run to the Sweet 16 with her fellow Bonnies that she will never forget.

"As a senior class, we talked about getting an NCAA tournament banner and not an NIT one, so to be able to come back and see that in a year or whenever will be nice." Jenkins said.

Jessica, who has started 98 straight games, can not only boast about being an Atlantic-10 all conference and all-academic member, but with over 200 pairs of shoes, her teammates say she is first team all-footwear.

"She has a ridiculous amount of shoes. I was her roommate freshman year and in she comes with a huge tub of just athletic shoes and that was it. I thought 'wow, this is ridiculous,'" says teammate Megan Van Tatenhove.

Once her senior year is complete, Jess hopes to pack up her shoes and head overseas to continue her basketball career. When finished playing basketball fulltime, Jenkins plans on falling back on her marketing degree and personal training certificate, but never getting to far from the game she loves.
