It's the week for offensive work

By: YNN Staff

It's clear where the Bills problems were in their loss to the Texans. On the offensive side of the ball, they were unable to stretch the field and unable to find the endzone. So what are they going to do about it?

"What you have to do is throw it deep enough to keep people honest," said Chan Gailey. "You just can't throw six yard routes the whole ball game . I think it's a matter of getting guys to do what they do best, fit it into the offense the way it needs to be fit in and go from there."

"We haven't made a lot of big down the field plays," added Ryan Fitzpatrick. "That's something we haven't done. The last few years we haven't. There's more times than not where we didn't execute the way we needed to in order to put points on the board."

That's one of the main priorities as the Bills begin to prepare for the Patriots.
