Canisius Opens Conference Play with a Win
Canisius men's basketball opened the MAAC schedule with a 67-55 win at Fairfield.
Harold Washington and Billy Baron each scored a team-high 19 points to lead the way. With the victory, the Golden Griffins (5-1, 1-0 MAAC) matched their win total and total conference wins from all of last season. Canisius next plays at Marist on Sunday.
