Could Nassib follow Marrone?
The two big issues for the Bills heading into the offseason was getting a new head coach and what to do at the quarterback position. Bills General Manager Buddy Nix said he plans to draft a quarterback this spring.
Unlike last year, there are no big name quarterbacks coming out of college. One QB however does have an obvious connection to Marrone.
His quarterback at Syracuse, Ryan Nassib, is looked at as one of a few NFL ready quarterbacks. Nix said that they have been looking at Nassib, but that had nothing to do with them hiring Marrone.
"We covered that just like we covered everything. Nassib, we were looking at him for quite a while. He's one of the quarterbacks that's going to be drafted and we'll look into that. I don't think that had anything to do with it," he said.
