CLEVELAND — Quarterback EJ Manuel left the game with an injury in the second half and the Buffalo Bills dropped to 2-3 with a loss to the Cleveland Browns.
Manuel was injured in the 3rd quarter while running for a first down, leaving rookie backup Jeff Tuel in charge of the Bills offense.
The Bills began scoring with a Fred Jackson touchdown run, followed by a Dan Carpenter field goal. Cleveland got going with punt returns, including a Travis Benjamin run for a touchdown to put them up 17-10.
The score was 17-17 when Manuel was injured. Jackson then scored his 2nd touchdown with Tuel under center.
The Bills were down six points, 30-24, and around midfield when a Tuel pick-six sealed it for the Browns.
