Marrone assembling a coaching staff

By: YNN Staff

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Doug Marrone's staff is taking shape at One Bills Drive, with three positions filled including the offensive and defensive coordinators.

Marrone is bringing in the man that called plays for him in Syracuse. Nathaniel Hackett has been tabbed the Bills' new offensive coordinator according to multiple reports. Just 33 years old, Hackett's attack set a number of records at Syracuse. This marks his second stop with the Bills, having served as a quality control coach under Dick Jauron.

Staying in the AFC East, Mike Pettine has been hired as the Bills' defensive coordinator. He comes over from the division-rival Jets, where his defenses ranked in the top ten in yards allowed every season. According to reports out of New York, he'll bring assistant defensive backs coach Jim O'Neil to the Bills as well.
