It was Chris Kelsey last week, and this week Shawne Merriman is calling it a career.
The defensive end announced his retirement on his website Tuesday evening, thanking the Bills and the San Diego Chargers.
A Pro Bowl pass rusher with the Chargers, Merriman came to the Buffalo in 2010 but never took the field due to an Achilles injury. He appeared in five games in 2011.
Merriman was cut last summer before returning. He played in 10 games, recording 12 tackles and one sack.
