ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — If you're headed to the Bills first home preseason game this weekend, you'll notice a change at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
This season, the stadium will be a completely smoke-free venue, and all the designated smoking areas inside the stadium have been removed. Smoking will still be allowed before you enter the stadium, but not inside.
"We spent a lot of time talking to our fans, and listening to our fans. People wanted a healthier environment here at the stadium. We feel this is one step towards our fan initiatives that can assist people’s enjoyment here at the stadium,” said Bills COO Russ Brandon.
The smoke free initiative is a joint project between the Bills, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and a number of other organizations.
