BUFFALO, N.Y. — Roswell Park Cancer Institute painted the park pink in support of breast cancer awareness.
Numerous people came out to show their support for a pledge to go pink. They were able to write messages of hope on pink ribbon, and also get paint me pink hair feathers, with all proceeds going to breast cancer research.
“We are here to pose a united front against the most common cancer in women worldwide. Breast cancer is the leading cause of death in women worldwide and I don't have to tell you that we very much here are intending to change that,” said Donald Trump, president & CEO of Roswell.
Roswell is pairing up with other agencies to "paint the town pink" throughout the month of October.
