With deep online discounts just a click away, Cyber Monday is here, with some big savings. YNN's Ryan Burgess checked in with two local companies with an online presence, to find out if Cyber Monday has been one of their biggest shopping days of the year.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — It's a day known for some of the best online discounts of the year. Cyber Monday is traditionally a benefit to consumers. But it's also a boost for retailers.

"It's been our best Cyber Monday by far," said Jeffrey Zimmer, president of Reeds Jenns Jewelers.

Cyber Monday sales at Reeds Jenns Jewelers, based in Western New York, have been better than expected. The jeweler is hoping to pick up on momentum from a strong Black Friday by placing more emphasis than ever on Cyber Monday sales.

"It expands our reach. We're able to sell to people in every state and through Canada. When people are looking for a deal, they'll dig through the internet," said Zimmer.

Zimmer says his business offers the same online value that customers saw in the stores on Black Friday.

"We try to mirror what we did in the stores so that our internet customers don't get a better value than out store customers and vice versa. It's been great this year so far. We're already almost sold out on one of the items already," said Zimmer.

Cyber Monday has also been strong for City Made, Inc., a company that sells all local products, like a Best of Buffalo box.

"We do specials for Cyber Monday. We give people a different type of tool to come on the site, a different code to be able to save something or feature different products," said Gary Steszewski, president of City Made Inc.

The products all need to be shipped across the country, which is a concept that also plays into Cyber Monday deals.

"What people are looking for is free shipping. So that's something we've been offering quite a bit of lately," said Steszewski.

They're online deals that sometimes last only for a day, giving consumers a deal that's just a click away.
