Reward offered in stolen snowboard case
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest in the case of someone stealing a snowboard and selling it for money.
Police in Orchard Park say the snowboard was taken off of a vehicle in a business complex on January 30th, sometime between 8 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Later that day, it was sold to a sports re-sale show in Hamburg.
Police say a man on surveillance then cashed the check from the sale of that snowboard. He's described as 6' tall, 180 to 200 pounds, and possibly has freckles.
