BUFFALO, N.Y. — Children at a local hospital received gifts from some special visitors.

Members of the Buffalo Bills and the UB Bulls football teams visited Thursday with nearly 75 children at Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo.

Fred Jackson, Rian Lindell, Brian Moorman and a half dozen UB Bulls went room to room handing out gift baskets and toys.

"Five minutes of my time, and these other guys time, it just brightens up their day, and it kind of changes up the monotony for them," said Lindell.

"I had the opportunity to meet a dad who was in there, and he knew who I was, and to see a big smile come to his face, and the excitement to meet him. I'm sure it's going to translate to his kids," said Jackson.

The Riley Children’s Foundation in Indianapolis put together nearly a thousand baskets, which were given out at children's hospitals in NFL cities across the country.
