BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Salvation Army is on the receiving end of much needed holiday donations.
For the past three weeks, employees working in the Larkin Building and the Northpointe Office Complex collected non-perishable items.
The Salvation Army says any donation, large or small, is more than welcomed.
"One by itself seems like little, but when you put it together with everything that everybody does, it becomes a much larger gift, and that's what we have to emphasize. The little you can give goes together with what everyone else does and makes it the big gift," said Major Thomas Applin, Salvation Army.
The donations will benefit the Salvation Army's Emergency Family Assistance Program, which provide nutritious meals to families in need during the holiday season.
