MARILLA, N.Y. -
A woman hit by a car last night in Marilla remains in critical condition this morning. It happened around seven on Two Rod Road. State police say 67-year-old Sandra Chandler was trying to cross Two Rod Road to get her mail when she was hit by a car.
Chandler was thrown 25 feet and landed in a ditch. She was taken by Mercy Flight to E-C-M-C where she remains seriously injured. Police say it was very dark out at the time,
and the driver of the car is not expected to face charges.
