17-year-old charged with murder following shooting

BUFFALO -- A Buffalo teen is facing murder charges in connection with two shootings this past August.

17-year-old charged with murder following shooting

The Erie County District Attorney's Office says 17-year-old Damone Lewis is charged with several felonies, including murder and attempted murder.

Lewis is accused of killing Jeremy Thomas in a shooting on Summer Place August 8th. He is also accused in a shooting on Wood Street on August 30th that left 15-year-old Angelica Soto paralyzed.

He faces 50 years to life behind bars if convicted.
