Fire destroys one school bus, damages two others
TONAWANDA, N.Y. — Town of Tonawanda police have determined the cause of a school bus fire at the Ken-Ton School District garage Monday morning.
Police say an electrical device used to keep the engines warm in the colder weather sparked a fire in a bus around 1 a.m. Monday.
The Ken-Ton superintendent says the $50,000 bus was destroyed. Two others were damaged.
Transportation for the students was not interrupted.
