Police locate car belonging to North Tonawanda woman found dead in her home
NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. — Police say they've found a woman's car that was missing since she was found dead in her home.

Meantime, YNN has learned her accused killer has a record for a sex offense committed when he was a teenager.

Police say 34-year-old Heather Rylowicz died as a result of combined blunt and sharp force trauma to the head and neck. Rylowicz's body was found inside her Lincoln Avenue home last Wednesday.

Brian Lowry, 32, who referred to Rylowicz as his girlfriend on his Facebook page, is charged with second degree murder. AnnArbor.com reports Lowry, a Michigan native, pleaded no contest in 1997 to sexual misconduct for having sex with a girl younger than 13. He later served three months for not registering as a sex offender.

Lowry pleaded not guilty to killing Rylowicz and is expected back in North Tonawanda City Court on Wednesday.
