Single gunshot hits Darien home and narrowly misses man
GENESEE COUNTY, N.Y. — Sheriff's deputies want to find out who shot a gun towards a home in Darien on Thursday afternoon.
Deputies say around 4:30 p.m., someone fired a bullet commonly used in rifle-barreled shotguns through the glass door of a home on Broadway between Route 77 and Tinkham Road.
The bullet missed a man's head by a foot.
Damage is estimated at $1,000.
