One of the men charged in puppy burning appears in court
BUFFALO, N.Y. — One of the men accused of burning a puppy appeared before a
judge Monday morning in Buffalo City Court.
Nineteen-year-old Adell Zeigler and his attorney were before Judge Joseph Fiorella.
The District Attorney's Office told the judge Zeigler's case has been presented to a grand jury, and action has been taken.
The case against him was adjourned for a week, while both sides wait to hear the grand jury's decision.
Zeigler and 17-year-old Diondre Brown are accused of severely burning Phoenix, a Jack Russell Terrier, in October.
Zeigler remains in police custody.
