'Metro' moves to foster home
BUFFALO, N.Y. — The emaciated pit bull puppy found outside a Buffalo animal hospital last week is headed to a foster home on Wednesday.
"Metro" is doing well enough to leave the Erie County SPCA. She was named after the Rural Metro ambulance workers who found her and took her to the facility.
As animal cruelty investigators continue to look into Metro's condition, PETA is offering a $5,000 reward leading to an arrest and conviction.
Anyone with any information should call the SPCA at 716-629-3525.
