A Grand Island man had to be flown to the hospital after being hit by a car on Stony Point Road Friday night around 8pm.
Erie County Sheriff's Deputies say Stephen Turner, 62, had gone to his car that was parked along the southbound lane to get some of his belongings. Turner then stepped into the road and was hit by a car.
Turner is listed in serious condition at ECMC.
