Nathan Gerbe spent his day making and decorating cookies with kids from the local charity, which helps children affected by cancer. The children also enjoyed food and holiday music. Gerbe says spending time with the kids helps him to put things into perspective.

Gerbe said, "At the end of the day these kids leave a bigger impression on me, we're always worried about the lockout, but coming here you realize the importance of life".

Since its creation in 1979, Camp Good Days has helped more than 42 thousand campers.
