Man faces 25 years for stolen handgun conviction
BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Buffalo man faces more than two decades behind bars for possessing a stolen handgun that he told police he was going to use to shoot a person at a convenience store.

On Monday, an Erie County jury found 32-year-old Tito Roosevelt, who also goes by Samuel Gamblin, guilty of criminal possession of a weapon and false impersonation.

According to the District Attorney, Roosevelt had the gun at the Corner Store on Genesee Street last December and told police he planned to shoot a person in the store who he believed shot his brother.

He faces 25 years in jail because of prior felony convictions.
