Man admits to throwing heroin on children during Tonawanda drug bust
BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Buffalo man pleaded guilty to heroin possession and endangering the welfare of child.

According to the District Attorney, 22-year-old Indaleccio Rodriguez-Escalera was found with heroin at the Economy Inn Tonawanda in October.

Police say when they entered the room, Rodriguez-Escalera threw some heroin around in an attempt to destroy the evidence.

The drugs landed on three children between the ages of three months and three years. All three were taken to Children's Hospital.

Rodriguez-Escalera faces a maximum of 5½ years in prison when sentenced in January.
