Niagara Falls trucker charged in pedestrian death
PITTSBURGH, PA — A Western New York man faces charges of leaving the scene of an accident after a pedestrian was hit and killed in Pennsylvania.
Police in Pittsburgh say 53-year-old Judith Kollar was killed after she was hit by a vehicle and knocked into the path of a freight truck driven by 61-year-old Brian Jamieson of Niagara Falls.
Police say Jamieson's truck drove over her before she was hit by a third vehicle.
They say Jamieson admitted to being in the area at the time, but not to running over the woman. They say they later found evidence of the on the underside of his truck.
