BUFFALO, N.Y. — A spokesperson for Buffalo Police says a boy in second grade either kicked or struck his teacher.

It happened at Buffalo Public School 90; the Drew Science Magnet School near Fillmore Avenue

The female teacher suffered apparent head injuries and was taken to ECMC.

A spokesperson for the school district says the student is seven-years-old. She says the district would not be releasing a statement Wednesday night due to the sensitivity of the incident and the age of the child.
