Man pleads guilty to attempted rape
BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Derby man will spend ten years in prison after pleading guilty to attempted rape charges.
The Erie County District Attorney's Office says 34-year-old Alan Harroun pleaded guilty to attempted rape and attempted criminal sexual act.
He admitted to sexually abusing a seven-year-old child between June and November of 2005.
Harroun will also have five years of post release supervision after spending ten years in state prison.
