Rochester man charged in Kenmore bank robbery
BUFFALO, N.Y. — Federal authorities say a Kenmore man robbed a bank in Kenmore.
According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, 57-year-old Robert Stevenson walked into a First Niagara Bank on Delaware Avenue back on June 11th and handed a bank teller a note demanding 100 and 50 dollar bills.
The teller said Stevenson tapped his waistband, inferring he had a weapon. Stevenson then allegedly made off with more than $3,500 in cash.
He has since been arrested and charged with bank robbery.
