Bieber Frenzy Spreads through Western New York

Hundreds of fans of pop superstar Justin Bieber crowded the First Niagara Center downtown Friday morning. They were hoping to score their chance at tickets to his upcoming concert right here in Western New York. As YNN's Kate McGowan reports, tickets sold out, and they sold out fast.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — It didn't matter how cold it was...

"Yeah, it dropped down and got cold," said a Rochester resident.

Or how long they had to wait...

A Bieber fan exclaimed, "We got here at 4 a.m. this morning, so yeah, I woke up at 3 a.m."

These Western New Yorkers couldn't hold back their 'Bieber Fever.'

The pop sensation announced a stop in Buffalo, as a part of his 'Believe World Tour'. Justin Bieber will perform this coming summer, on July 15th. Fans were able to purchase tickets on Thursday through a pre-sale offer online but concert officials said that sold out in two hours.

So, many lined up at the First Niagara Center Friday morning for the 10 a.m. box office open.

"My niece, Faith, she's six years old. She's obsessed with Justin Bieber. She says it's her boyfriend," said Carrie-Ann Guard from Buffalo.

"My daughter is actually a huge Justin Bieber fan, she's nine years old. So we're out here freezing for her, so she better appreciate these tickets. She's a 'belieber' and so is my 30-year-old sister who is quite the Bieber fan," joked Lyndsey Lenhard.

In 34 minutes, the windows to the box office went dark and Justin Bieber's Buffalo concert officially sold out.

For those who were lucky enough, the emotions were strong.

"I am just so excited," one girl exclaimed, as she teared up.
