Clarence man charged with 44 felonies for allegedly abusing child
CLARENCE, N.Y. — A Clarence man was charged with 44 felonies in connection with the abuse of a child.
Craig Walek, 49, was arraigned Thursday in Clarence Town Court.
According to the Erie County Sheriff's Office, Walek repeatedly abused the child, who was 12 when the abuse began.
The Sheriff's Office says investigators also found child pornography at Walek's home.
Walek is being held at the Erie County Holding Center on $1 million bail.
