Crews have been working to get about 30 plows ready to maintain hundreds of miles of county roads. The worst weather is expected to hit the hill country along the Chautauqua ridge. And officials want to remind drivers to take their time on snowy roads.

"We're ready but we also would like the public to be ready and be safe and be able to get to where they're going safely during the holiday season," said David Daversa, Chautauqua County Department of Transportation.
