Clarence man and his mom both charged with DWI
CLARENCE, N.Y. - A Clarence man and his mother were both arrested Friday night and charged with DWI after a crash.
State Police say 22 year old Ryan Mackenzie was arrested after he lost control of his car and hit several mailboxes on Clarence Center Road.
Mackenzie failed several field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest.
He then called his mother, 53-year-old Allison Mackenzie, to pick him up from the scene.
When she arrived, troopers say she was also intoxicated and then arrested.
Both were charged with DWI and will return to Clarence Town Court in January.
