City considers church demolition application
BUFFALO, N.Y. — A church that was damaged in a fire last April could be demolished in the near future.
A spokesperson for the city of Buffalo says a demolition application has been approved for Korean United Methodist Church at Colvin and Tacoma Avenues.
He says the city could not unreasonably deny the request, because the property owners met all requirements for an application to be approved.
Fire investigators say the church suffered about a quarter of a million dollars in damages in that fire.
