High bidder announced for closed Olean elementary school
OLEAN, N.Y. — A high bidder has been announced for a closed elementary school in Olean.
According to the superintendent for the Olean City Schools, Community Bank's bid was a little more than $205,000 for the closed Ivers J. Norton Elementary School.
If the bid is approved, the district will move forward with steps required to complete the transaction.
A public vote on the deal would likely take place in May.
